About the Role
Noise's in-house design studio works across audio, wearables, and emerging categories — from TWS earbuds and smartwatches to new lifestyle products. We're looking for a Packaging Design Intern to join us for a 6-month, full-time internship, helping translate product stories into shelf-ready, unboxing-worthy packaging across our portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Support the design team on packaging projects end to end: structural exploration, dielines, graphics, and print-ready artwork
- Develop unboxing experiences that reflect each product's CMF story and brand positioning
- Prepare mockups and prototypes for internal reviews and vendor sampling
- Coordinate with print and packaging vendors on materials, finishes, and production feasibility
- Assist with competitive research on packaging trends in consumer electronics and lifestyle categories
- Maintain artwork files, dieline libraries, and spec documentation
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field
- Available for the full 6-month duration
- Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge of dielines and print production basics (CMYK, special finishes, substrates) is a plus
- An eye for detail and material sensitivity — you notice paper stocks, foils, and emboss depths
- A portfolio demonstrating packaging or print work (academic projects welcome)
What You'll Get
- Hands-on experience shipping packaging for products at real retail scale — a 6-month run means you'll likely see at least one project go from concept to shelf
- Mentorship from an in-house studio working across product, CMF, and brand
- Exposure to the full journey from concept to production with vendors.
